I started cycling at the end of 2016, after "retiring" from competitive soccer and running. I was the manager for the El Cerrito High MTB NICA team for two seasons and started a domestic elite women's team, Monarch Racing. I was selected for the inaugural year of the Lifetime Grand Prix series, and I continue to race at the pro level in mountain bikes, gravel bikes, and road bikes. I graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, and currently work as an FP&A Analyst at Specialized Bicycles.
I'm motivated to speak out about gender disparity in sports, cycling and otherwise, and connect individually with female (and male) student athletes to encourage and support them through adverse situations, as well as educate on difficult topics such as inequality and sexism. I've spoken at fundraising events, been invited onto podcasts, written articles for national cycling publications such as Velo, as well as been elected to the Board of Directors for my local association of USA Cycling. I create and lead innovative programming for U19 riders, designed to broaden their cycling worlds as well as create confident, empowered individuals with skills that will benefit them through cycling and beyond. You can find out more under the "Advocacy/Contact Me" site page.
I have been working with my endurance coach Nathaniel English since I started racing competitively, andIan Massey is my technical skills coach. Marty Susskind is my strength and conditioning coach.
